About Andrew

I am a writer and communications professional currently living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

My career has taken me through newsrooms, non-profits and politics. Everywhere I went I  pushed the limits on tradition and I continue to challenge the way things have always been done, pull back the curtain on how it looks on the inside, and show that these worlds aren’t so elite and inaccessible.

But who I am isn’t just my work. I found my community in playing basketball. I’m an experimenter in the kitchen. I go on long walks with my partner and together we look lovingly at the houses we hope to own one day. We have two cats and a side hustle catsitting for at least a dozen others. And of course, we spend hours talking about the state of the world and do what we can to make our community a better place.

  1. Hello. I teach. I also agree with your comments about teaching law in HS.

Your writing resonates. Good for you!

My bet is we’ll be hearing more from you.

I have shared your posting from Blue sky on Gander. Where I am currently Beta testing.

Cats or people? I adore my cats, tolerate most people…but keep the circle small.

Smith – a Rene Levesque wannabe with none of the charm. I disagreed with him, but respected him. Her? Someone should tell her the clown car is not the parade car of choice North of Mar-a-Lago
